Malo Gusto Early life 

Malo Gusto was founded in the neighborhood of Décines-Charpieu, which would later become the location of the Parc OL in the Lyon Metropolis.

Malo Gusto Club career 

Malo Gusto began his playing career at the ASVF. He then moved on to Bourgoin-Jallieu for a period of one year before enrolling in the Olympique Lyonnais academy as a member of the under-14 team. This transfer was quite similar to the one made by his senior academy teammate Amine Gouiri. It was pure coincidence that Gusto came to Lyon in the same year that his former team relocated to the Stade des Lumières, which is located in his hometown.

There, he was a member of the same generation as Florent da Silva, Yaya Soumaré, and Rayan Cherki. Eventually, in December of 2021, he signed his first professional deal with the French club.
